Beautiful Buds.
This morning I woke up to one of the most shocking and exciting discoveries I have had to date.
Four days ago I decided "Fuck buying my goodies from a sixteen year old kid whom can't drive and is still in High School" and decided I would give growing my own herb a shot. Having NEVER grown any sort of plant in my life, I did not expect any thing to happen. I was pleasantly surprised to wake up on day four with the above results. Even more so that I used an average household lamp (most indoor gardens require a 60-150 wat bulb) to supply my seeds with their much needed nutrients.
The big question I have been asking myself has to do with the banana above that I haphazardly left on my desk within a few feet a mere three days ago.
I'm sure you have heard that Banana skins are supposedly good for most plants, something to do with the skin converging and shit with the soil and seeds. Mmmmmm potassium. But I've yet to see some one prove that it is indeed a growth booster.
Do you smell a project? I fucking do!
So along with updates on how my pretty little sprouts are doing, I'll be testing out this theory.
But the big question is do I
A. Peel the Banana and shove the peel directly in with the seeds?
B. Let the peel soak in water then feed the water to the seeds?
C. Dry out the peel then break it up into little live altering bits then stick them in the soil?
D. Simply lay the peel on top of the seeds?
or E.Grind up potassium pills and mix them in with the fertilizer?
Ponder...Ponder....Ponder.
Personally I'm leaning towards option A. But who knows! Well, most likely a professional horticulturalist... But whatever.
My plan is to give all five options a try and compare them. What do you think?
